Overall, Sarkisian appeared to be in good spirits and was pleased with how his team performed against the top team in the country.
Many were anxious to receive an injury update on Monday. Sarkisian noted that several key players are day-to-day, but did not go into specifics on the severity of each injury.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers will be sidelined for several weeks due to a shoulder sprain. Hudson Card, Bijan Robinson and D’Shawn Jamison are dealing with injuries as well.
The second-year head coach also mentioned true freshman quarterback Maalik Murphy is not healthy, therefore Charles Wright is next in line to step in at quarterback if Card is unable to play in Week 3.
