College GameDay has announced its location for the Oct. 3 weekend. ESPN’s flagship college football preview show will be held in Athens, Georgia on Saturday morning.

GameDay is hosted by Kirk Herbstreit, David Pollack, and more in a socially distanced outdoor studio. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, no fans can attend the event. This past week the GameDay crew visited the Florida State at Miami pregame events.

Still, there’s virtual guests, fans, and more for GameDay. The experience on TV is nearly the same.

GameDay will cover the SEC conference game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers. The contest is projected to be a top ten match-up.

This past week, Georgia defeated Arkansas 37-10 and Auburn got a solid 29-13 win over an unusually talented Kentucky football team. Last year, Kirby Smart and UGA beat Auburn 21-14 in a tightly contested game.
