Eagles vs. Giant Week 18 kickoff time revealed

The Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants game in Week 18 will played at 1:00 PM on CBS Sports

After clinching the NFC East, the Eagles will host the Giants in Week 18. The NFL has settled on the early 1:00 p.m. window.

The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports, and depending on how Nick Sirianni feels, it could be the backdrop for Saquon Barkley’s pursuit of Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record against his former team.

The Eagles (13-3) wrapped up the NFC East and the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs on Sunday with a 41-7 demolition of the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

Barkley set the single-season franchise record for most scrimmage yards (2,283) and became just the ninth player in NFL history to surpass 2,000 rushing yards (2,005) in a season.

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith had 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns, with quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee running the offense for the injured Jalen Hurts.

Eagles vs. Cowboys game flexed in Week 17

Eagles vs. Cowboys flexed to 1PM slot in Week 17, while the Packers vs. Vikings has been moved to the 4:25PM slot

The league announced that the Eagles will host the Cowboys on Sunday, with a chance to clinch the NFC East. With Dallas out of playoff contention, the game has been flexed to the 1:00 PM slot.

With two teams in the NFC North (Vikings and Lions) having 12-3 records and the Packers having a 10-4 record entering Monday night, the NFL chose a stacked division race over one of the league’s top rivalries.

The Eagles (12-3) will look to sweep the season series with the Cowboys (7-8) for the first time since 2011 and wrap up the division title. The Cowboys have been eliminated from playoff contention but want to play spoiler. Dallas has won four of its last five games and knocked the Buccaneers out of first place in the NFC South.

Cooper Rush will start as the Cowboys’ quarterback. He has a 9-2 career record as a starter in the NFL against teams other than the Eagles but is 0-2 against Philadelphia.

Eagles-Jaguars flexed out of Sunday Night Football on NBC slot in Week 9

The Philadelphia Eagles game against the Jacksonville Jaguars has been flexed out of the Sunday Night Football on NBC slot in Week 9

The Philadelphia Eagles are must-see television, but for the second time this season, they’ll have a late afternoon or primetime contest flexed out for a potentially more entertaining matchup.

Last week, it was announced that the Eagles game against the Bengals on Oct. 27 in Cincinnati has been moved from a 4:25 p.m. kickoff to 1 p.m. on CBS.

The Bears and Commanders have been moved to that national 4:25 p.m. slot, which features an exciting matchup between rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. In a bit of irony, Daniels could miss that matchup with a rib injury suffered in the team’s win over the Panthers.

Now, the NFL just announced that Philadelphia’s Week 9 Sunday night matchup against Doug Pederson and the Jacksonville Jaguars has been flexed to the late afternoon game on CBS, replaced by the Vikings matchup against the improved Indianapolis Colts.

That’s twice this season Philadelphia has had a game moved, and as one of the NFL’s best primetime draws, will Roger Goodell and the league return the favor and potentially move a late-season contest against the Ravens, Steelers, Cowboys, and Commanders could all potentially be flexed.
