Thunder vs. Timberwolves: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Wednesday’s Thunder vs. Timberwolves game, with odds from @Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (13-23) come off a loss against the Dallas Mavericks that featured Josh Giddey making history. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves (17-20) are in the midst of the battle for a playoff berth; they are 1.5 games out of eighth place in the Western Conference.

Thunder at Timberwolves notable injuries:

Thunder: Lu Dort is out with left knee soreness. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl is out due to health and safety protocol.

Timberwolves: Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell are questionable due to conditioning.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Timberwolves -8.5
  • Money line: Thunder +320 / Timberwolves -450
  • Over-under: 213.5

Advice and prediction

The outcome of this game really depends on whether or not Karl-Anthony Towns, and to a lesser extent, D’Angelo Russell play this game. If not, it’s hard to see the Timberwolves beating a mostly healthy Thunder squad that has proven it can punch above its weight class all season. But if just Towns plays, the Timberwolves should be able to squeeze by this contest. Considering Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch said this game was a more realistic target for both of them to return, I expect that to be the case with a win.

Prediction: Timberwolves 117, Thunder 105

Knicks vs. Thunder: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Friday’s Knicks vs. Thunder game, with odds from @Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder play the New York Knicks on Friday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma and MSG Network (Knicks).

The Thunder (12-22) return home after losing a close game to the reigning Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns. The Thunder have dealt with a slew of positive COVID-19 tests this week, leading to five players and head coach Mark Daigneault being sidelined in the health and safety protocol. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kenrich Williams are also dealing with ankle injuries.

Meanwhile, the Knicks (17-18) are dealing with similar health and safety protocol issues along with typical injuries. The team is playing without nine players, including Julius Randle.

Knicks at Thunder notable injuries:

Knicks: Julius Randle, Nerlens Noel, Wayne Seldon, Jericho Sims are in the health and safety protocol. Derrick Rose is out due to ankle surgery. Evan Fournier is questionable due to ankle soreness. Danuel House Jr. is out due to a dislocated finger. Matt Mooney is out due to not being with the team.

Thunder: Josh Giddey, Darius Bazley, Tre Mann, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Aleksej Pokusevski are in the health and safety protocol. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is questionable due to ankle soreness. Kenrich Williams is questionable due to an ankle sprain.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Knicks -5.5
  • Money line: Knicks -220 / Thunder +175
  • Over-under: 205.5

Click here to place your bets at Tipico Sportsbook.

Advice and prediction

It’s really hard to predict this game considering the number of injuries and players in the health and safety protocol. The outcome might honestly come down to whether Gilgeous-Alexander is available. Considering the Thunder have slow-played injuries a lot these past couple of seasons due to winning not being a priority, I expect the 23-year-old to sit this one out. I think the Knicks extend their winning streak to four games in a low-scoring affair between two teams playing a lot of backups and G Leaguers. Take the under 205.5.

Prediction: Knicks 94, Thunder 87

Nuggets vs. Thunder: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Wednesday’s Thunder vs. Nuggets game, with odds from @Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder play the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma and Altitude TV (Nuggets).

The Thunder (10-19) are winners of two straight against the playoff-caliber LA Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies, but winning their third game in a row might be the biggest challenge yet. The Nuggets (15-14) are in town with current MVP Nikola Jokic, who has historically owned the Thunder, averaging 20.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 21 games.

Thunder vs. Nuggets notable injuries:

Thunder: Tre Mann (left toe sprain) is questionable. Mike Muscala (rest) is out.

Nuggets: Aaron Gordon (left hamstring soreness) and JaMychal Green (right ankle sprain/left knee soreness) are questionable. Bol Bol (health and safety protocol), PJ Dozier (left ACL surgery), Markus Howard (left knee sprain), Jamal Murray (left knee injury recovery) and Michael Porter Jr. (spine surgery) are out.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Nuggets -6.5
  • Money line: Nuggets -280 / Thunder +220
  • Over-under: 214.5

Click here to place your bets at Tipico Sportsbook.

Advice and prediction

The injury-riddled Nuggets have been a middle of the pack team on both ends of the floor as Jokic tries to hold everything together with another MVP campaign. Meanwhile, the Thunder are winners of two straight close contests but have struggled to run at the beginning of games. Jokic has historically dominated the Thunder, and I expect this to continue on Wednesday. The team does not have a proper defender near his size to guard him. The reigning MVP should be enough to help lead his team to a road win against a rebuilding squad.

Prediction: Nuggets 120, Thunder 105

Thunder at Raptors: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Wednesday’s Thunder vs. Raptors game, with odds from @Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder play the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 6:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (7-16) snapped their eight-game losing streak with a win over the rebuilding Detroit Pistons on Monday with the returns of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Kenrich Williams leading the way. Canadian natives Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort combined for 58 points.

The Raptors (11-13) are winners of two straight with a team that features five players averaging over 15 points a game. One of those five will not be active for Wednesday’s game: OG Anunoby is dealing with a hip injury.

Thunder at Raptors notable injuries:

Thunder: No injuries to report.

Raptors: OG Anunoby is out with a left hip pointer and Khem Birch is out with right knee swelling.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Raptors -6.5
  • Money line: Raptors -300 / Thunder +230
  • Over-under: 209.5

Click here to place your bets at Tipico Sportsbook.

Advice and prediction

The Thunder did a nice job at getting some mojo back — after an embarrassing 73-point loss — by defeating the Pistons and completing the 18-point comeback. Surprisingly enough, the Thunder lead the league in 15-plus point comebacks this season with five.

The Raptors are much more talented than the Pistons. Despite what their record says, they are a top-half team in the league in terms of offensive ratings. I expect a close, hard fought home win for the Raptors.

While the win was nice, plenty of red flags regarding the Thunder were easily masked in Detroit against arguably a worse team. Take Toronto to cover.

Prediction: Raptors 111, Thunder 103

Thunder vs. Grizzlies: 6 prop bets for Thursday’s game

Will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander be the leading scorer in Thursday’s Thunder vs. Grizzlies game? Make your prediction here!

One night after a tough loss at home to the Houston Rockets, the Oklahoma City Thunder will hit the road to visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.

The Thunder will try to snap a seven-game losing skid before continuing their road trip with stops in Detroit and Toronto.

Thursday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Oklahoma and Bally Sports Southeast.

Before the game tips off, make your picks on the top prop bets for the Thunder vs. Grizzlies showdown at FedExForum.

Thunder at Grizzlies: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bets for Thursday’s Thunder vs. Grizzlies game, with odds from Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma (Thunder) and Bally Sports Southeast (Grizzlies).

The Thunder (6-15) are mired in a seven-game losing streak, and, despite a monster game from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, surrendered a fourth-quarter lead on Wednesday night to fall to the Rockets.

The Grizzlies (11-10) are short-handed without Ja Morant, but they have won their last two games, against the Kings and Raptors.

Thunder at Grizzlies notable injuries:

Thunder: The Thunder have not yet issued an injury report for Thursday, but Mike Muscala (right ankle soreness), Kenrich Williams (right ankle sprain), Derrick Favors (non-COVID illness) and Josh Giddey (flu) missed Wednesday’s game.

Grizzlies: Kyle Anderson (back soreness) is questionable. Ziaire Williams (left knee soreness) is doubtful. Ja Morant (left knee sprain) and Sam Merrill (left ankle sprain) are out.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Grizzlies -8.5
  • Money line: Grizzlies -450/ Thunder +330
  • Over-under: 214.5

Click here to place your bets at Tipico Sportsbook.

Advice and prediction

Entering Thursday’s game, the Grizzlies have hit the over in seven of their last eight games, though they’re 1-1 on the total since Ja Morant’s injury. Memphis also has the worst defensive rating in the league, and with OKC playing the back end of a back-to-back, I’m not sure we’re going to see much defensive intensity. With the spread just a bit too lopsided for me to feel comfortable betting the Grizzlies, I’m taking the over 214.5 here.

Prediction: Grizzlies 117, Thunder 110

Thunder vs. Wizards: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Friday’s Thunder vs. Wizards game, with odds from Tipico Sportsbook.

Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards visit the Paycom Center to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma and NBC Sports Washington.

The Thunder will be without star guard Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, who is dealing with a sprained ankle, and OKC is riding a four-game losing streak. The Wizards got off to a hot start to the season, but have lost four of five and are coming off an embarrassing blowout loss in New Orleans.

Wizards at Thunder notable injuries:

Washington: Rui Hachimura (not with team) and Thomas Bryant (ACL injury recovery) are out.

Oklahoma City: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle sprain) is out.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Wizards -7.5 / Thunder +7.5
  • Money line: Wizards -350 / Thunder +265
  • Over-under: 206.5

Click here to place your bets at Tipico Sportsbook.

Advice and prediction

I’m not sure backers of either team will be particularly confident with this spread. The Wizards are a solid team, but they’ve been playing poorly of late and are 1-4 ATS in their last five. The Thunder, meanwhile, have covered in five consecutive games, but in three of those contests they were double-digit underdogs.

Instead, I’m taking the over 206.5. The Thunder have hit the over in three consecutive games, and 206.5 is their lowest total of the season so far. The Wizards do have a top-10 defense, but if the Pelicans can put up 127 on Washington a few days ago, the Thunder can get to triple-digits.

Prediction: Wizards 110, Thunder 102

Thunder vs. Jazz: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Get betting advice and a prediction for the OKC Thunder game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder host Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma and AT&T SportsNet.

The Thunder (6-11) finished their road trip 0-3 with losses to the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks. Utah (11-6), which beat OKC by 21 points in the season opener, will be trying to get back in the win column after a heartbreaker of a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

Thunder vs. Jazz notable injuries:

Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (right ankle sprain), was listed as out on Wednesday morning.

Jazz: No Utah players were listed on the injury report as of Tuesday night.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Jazz -12.5
  • Money line: Jazz -1000 / Thunder +600
  • Over-under: 208.5

Advice and prediction

Without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder simply don’t have the scoring to take down a team like the Utah Jazz. Rudy Gobert is the best in the game at protecting the paint, and much of the Thunder’s offense revolves around attacking the basket and then passing out and then rolling through the cycle again.

Gobert in the middle will force OKC to take more 3s. The Thunder have hit only 30.6%, the second-worst in the NBA. They attempt 38.6 per game, the seventh-most in the league. It’s a combo that the Jazz defense can feast on.

If you want any hope, Lu Dort showed last season that the Jazz defense is not impenetrable. And with how well the Thunder have done with covering the spread this season — they did so against both the Bucks and Celtics but were just shy against the Hawks — one can make an argument they could do so again.

But I don’t think so. They didn’t the first time these two teams played. It was the season opener and the Thunder, with SGA, could not reach 90 points. I’d be surprised if they hit the spread and I’m also smashing the under (which has actually gone down a little bit since this morning)

Prediction: Jazz 108, Thunder 91
