Thunder vs. Hawks: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our best bets and prediction for Monday’s Thunder vs. Hawks game, with odds from Tipico Sportsbook.

The Oklahoma City Thunder visit Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 6:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma and Bally Sports Southeast.

The Thunder are winless on their current road trip without coach Mark Daigneault, but they successfully covered the spread against both the Bucks and Celtics. In Boston, the Thunder trailed by 15 to start the fourth quarter, but outscored the Celtics by nine in the final frame. The Hawks, meanwhile, have reeled off four consecutive wins, and have covered the spread in each of those games.

Thunder vs. Hawks notable injuries:

Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (right ankle sprain) is questionable.

Hawks: Bogdan Bogdanovic (right quad contusion) is questionable. De’Andre Hunter (right wrist tendon surgery) and Onyeka Okongwu (right shoulder injury recovery) are out.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Hawks -10.5
  • Money line: Hawks -750 / Thunder +500
  • Over-under: 213.5

Advice and prediction

The big question here is the status of Gilgeous-Alexander, who was held to 14 points in Boston. The Hawks are trending in the right direction, though, and have been an impressive 7-1 at home, blowing out the Bucks, Celtics and Jazz at State Farm Arena. The Hawks also have a bottom-four defensive rating, so for Atlanta to cover the spread, you’d have to back them to be scoring enough to likely hit the over as well. I’m taking Atlanta minus-10.5 and the over 213.5 here, which seems a low number.

Prediction: Hawks 117, Thunder 104

Thunder vs. Celtics: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Get betting advice on the OKC Thunder game against the Boston Celtics.

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Boston Celtics on Saturday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 6:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (6-9) nearly overcame a 20-point deficit to the Milwaukee Bucks, cutting the lead to two, but ended up falling by seven points. The Celtics (8-8) have had to deal with the absence of Jaylen Brown for seven games, but they took down the Los Angeles Lakers with major contributions from former OKC and LA guard Dennis Schroder on Friday night.

Celtics vs. Thunder notable injuries:

Oklahoma City: No Thunder players were listed as of Friday morning.

Boston: Jaylen Brown (right hamstring sprain) is out. Dennis Schroder (left ankle sprain) is probable. Robert Williams (left knee tendinopathy) is doubtful.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Celtics -9.5 / Thunder +9.5
  • Money line: Celtics -550/ Thunder +400
  • Over-under: 205.5

Advice and prediction

The Thunder are best when they are simply trying harder and hustling more than the opposing team, one who underestimates the underdog. I could see them doing this to Boston. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, but maybe due to the Celtics simply not living up to expectations the last couple years and having the weirdness in the air surrounding them, I’d actually feel moderately comfortable with the Thunder covering the spread. I wouldn’t bet on OKC winning, but particularly given as the Celtics don’t have Jaylen Brown, I think plus-9.5 is a fair line to go Thunder and see if they can work their game again.

The major concerns with betting on the Thunder to cover: it’s an away game, they don’t have Mark Daigneault on the sideline, and Boston is still the better team. Bet at your own risk.

Prediction: Celtics 104, Thunder 99

Thunder vs. Bucks: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Get betting odds and advice on the OKC Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks game on Friday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (6-8) bounced back from consecutive losses with a win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Lu Dort continued his surge, posting 34 points. The Bucks (7-8) have not started the season much better than OKC, and will try to get to .500.

Bucks vs. Thunder notable injuries:

Oklahoma City: No Thunder players were listed as of Friday morning.

Milwaukee: Brook Lopez (back) and Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) are both out against the Thunder.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Bucks -12.5 / Thunder +12.5
  • Money line: Bucks -1200 / Thunder +700
  • Over-under: 214.5

Advice and prediction

The Thunder are best as underdogs taking advantage of a team that is underrating OKC’s ability to compete. The Bucks, with a 7-8 record, are not in position to be doing so. They are licking their chops at the chance to come out with a victory and even their record at .500.

The return of Khris Middleton will help Milwaukee. After missing eight games, he played against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday and will now likely be the primary defender of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Milwaukee is good enough defensively to slow down Lu Dort, who is averaging almost 25 points in his last five games. The Thunder bigs are not going to be able to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo once he gets into the paint. OKC has played well as of late, but this one is not a game I’d bet on them covering the spread.

Prediction: Bucks 116, Thunder 98

Thunder vs. Bucks: 5 prop bets for Friday’s game

Can the Thunder knock off the Bucks on Friday night? Make your pick here!

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the defending NBA champions on Friday night in Milwaukee, and have won five of their last seven games in a very solid stretch.

The Thunder will be without head coach Mark Daigneault, who remained at home in Oklahoma and did not join the team on their three-game road trip. Daigneault and his wife are expecting a baby.

Friday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Oklahoma and Bally Sports Wisconsin (Milwaukee).

Thunder vs. Rockets: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Get betting advice for the OKC Thunder game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (5-8) have now lost two games in a row after picking up four consecutive victories. They’ll look to get back on the winning side against the Houston Rockets, who are 1-13 — but their sole win came against Oklahoma City.

Rockets at Thunder notable injuries:

Oklahoma City: No Thunder players were listed as of Tuesday night.

Houston: Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) was questionable as of Tuesday night.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Rockets +2.5 / Thunder -2.5
  • Money line: Rockets +120 / Thunder -145
  • Over-under: 213.5

Advice and prediction

This is a game the Thunder could and probably should win. The Rockets have been awful this season, near or at the bottom league in points scored, field goal and 3-point percentage, turnovers and points allowed. Their point differential is the worst in the league.

Oklahoma City, though, hasn’t been much better. The team ranks also extremely low in most offensive metrics and has the fifth-worst point differential. The Rockets’ sole win this season was a 33-point walloping of the Thunder.

Christian Wood in particular was remarkable in that game, and it’s still unclear which Thunder big can handle him. That’s the major question mark for OKC, who needs a win to avoid a three-game losing streak heading into a road stretch against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks.

What’s more promising for the Thunder since that October matchup is that Lu Dort has been playing extremely well, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has found his footing and Josh Giddey now has a dozen games of NBA experience.

It’s a game the Thunder should be able to win, but they’re best when they’re trailing and must make a comeback. It’s rare that they get to play an evenly matched, evenly intense team. I’ll take OKC, but I don’t particularly encourage betting on this matchup. Could legitimately go either way.

Prediction: Thunder 104, Rockets 99

Thunder vs. Rockets: 8 prop bets for Wednesday’s game

Will Josh Giddey have a double-double against the Rockets? Make your pick here!

The Oklahoma City Thunder fell just outside of play-in position with consecutive losses, but they’ll have a chance to bounce back on Wednesday against the team with the worst record in the league. The Houston Rockets are 1-13 on the season and have lost 12 consecutive games. Their only victory of the year came against the Thunder in Houston.

Wednesday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Oklahoma and AT&T SportsNet Southwest (Houston).

Thunder vs. Heat: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Getting betting odds and predictions for the OKC Thunder game against the Miami Heat.

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Miami Heat on Monday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 6 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (5-7) saw their four-game win streak ended by the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday and will try to get back in the W column in the second of a back-to-back. The Heat (8-5) saw their own streak ended this weekend — but it was a positive, as they snapped a three-game losing slide with a victory over the Jazz.

Nets at Thunder notable injuries:

Oklahoma City: Darius Bazley is questionable due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Expect the Thunder to be cautious with him after that same injury ended Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s season prematurely last year (SGA is back this season and will be playing Monday night). Derrick Favors is out for rest reasons.

Brooklyn: Bam Adebayo (knee bruise) is probable while Jimmy Butler (ankle) is questionable. Markieff Morris (neck) and Victor Oladipo (quadriceps) are out.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Head -8.5 / Thunder +8.5
  • Money line: Nets -475 / Thunder +340
  • Over-under: 207.5

Advice and prediction

The Thunder have struggled to defend top bigs this season, and Bam Adebayo is as difficult and versatile as they come. If he plays, which is expected, I would not expect Oklahoma City to be able to cover the spread. If he’s out, the Thunder have a chance. If he and Butler are both forced to miss the game, I’d consider putting money on OKC to win.

One thing that could help the Thunder bounce back is the return of Mike Muscala, who was out for rest purposes on the first of the back-to-backs. His ability to spread the floor has been paramount in Thunder victories.

The Heat’s defense is constructed in such a way around Adebayo, though, that I don’t think it’s realistic to bet on OKC to win or even cover.

Prediction: Heat 109, Thunder 93

Thunder vs. Heat: 6 prop bets for Monday’s game

Will Josh Giddey have more assists than Kyle Lowry? Make your pick here!

The Oklahoma City Thunder had their four-game winning streak snapped by Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night, but they’ll get a chance to bounce back on Monday against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

The Heat have lost three of four games on their current road trip, which will end in OKC.

Monday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Oklahoma (OKC) and Bally Sports Sun (Miami).

Thunder vs. Kings: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our best bet for Friday’s Thunder vs. Kings game, with odds from Tipico Sportsbook.

The streaking Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. CT and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

The Thunder (4-6) are on a three-game winning streak, with wins over the Lakers, Spurs and Pelicans. The Kings (5-7) have dropped three consecutive games entering Friday’s matchup.

Kings at Thunder notable injuries:

Oklahoma City: No players are injured, but Isaiah Roby, Theo Maledon and Vit Krejci (G League, on assingment) are all out.

Sacramento: Tyrese Haliburton (low back tightness) and Terence Davis (left ankle soreness) are questionable.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook (place your bets here)

  • Point spread: Kings -4.5 / Thunder +4.5
  • Money line: Kings -190 / Thunder +155
  • Over-under: 219.5

Advice and prediction

Oklahoma City has covered the spread in four consecutive games, and the under has hit in five straight Thunder games. The Kings, however, are capable of explosive scoring nights, and also have a bottom-seven defense, ranking 24th in defensive rating, while also playing with a top-seven pace. Betting the spread either way here feels like a trap, but we should see more points than in a typical Thunder game on Friday. I’m taking the over 219.5 here.

Prediction: Kings 118, Thunder 112

Thunder vs. Pelicans: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

New Orleans is favored to beat the Thunder, but Oklahoma City has a good chance to beat the one-win Pelicans.

The Oklahoma City Thunder play the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. Central Time and can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City, now with a record of 3-6, is coming of consecutive wins and two days of rest. Meanwhile, the Pelicans are 1-10 and may be the worst team in the league, particularly with injuries to their two stars.

Thunder vs. Pelicans notable injuries:

Brandon Ingram is questionable for New Orleans with a hip injury, and Zion Williamson remains out with a long-term injury.

Thunder rookie point guard Tre Mann is considered day-to-day with a nose injury but has no new designation as of Wednesday morning.

The lines, courtesy of Tipico Sportsbook

  • Point spread: Thunder +4.5
  • Money line: Pelicans -190/Thunder +155
  • Over-under: 211.5

Advice and prediction

The following comes with the assumption that Brandon Ingram will not play:

I thought the Thunder would be favored this game. As such, this may be the first game I would encourage bettors to put money on them winning. If you’re not confident betting on a Thunder win, which is understandable, I think covering the spread would still be safe.

The Pelicans haven’t scored more than 100 points since October. Their roster is similarly young like the Thunder and, with international play considered, perhaps less experienced. Over the last six games, all losses, they have been outscored by 15 points, on average.

One caution, though: The Thunder trailed by double-digits in all three of their wins. The comebacks — specifically the ones against the Lakers — may have come in part from disrespect from opponents assuming they were the better team. The Pelicans can make no such claim to being better and, as the home team, will have their audience in the stands for a game they should feel relatively confident about winning.

I wouldn’t bet your paycheck on the Thunder winning, but this is the first game in which I like their chances. Even if Ingram does play, I could absolutely see Oklahoma City pulling off the win, or at least covering the spread (which would be heightened if Ingram is ruled active). With two days off since the last game, Oklahoma City has had more than enough time to prepare and try to rectify the poor first quarters that have gotten the team into so many holes this season.

Prediction: Thunder 107, Pelicans 99
