Buford High School (Georgia) safety Jake Pope, who is ranked as a four-star recruit, has released his initial list of top schools. Pope is a member of the class of 2022 and has seen an uptick in scholarship offers recently.
Pope plays wide receiver in addition to safety. The four-star is 6 feet, 2 inches and weighs 190 pounds. He won a 6A state championship this past season with Buford and was named all-region.
Pope is a versatile athlete and a good route runner. He is an impressive tackler in the open field and made critical plays against elite high school competition.

The Buford, Georgia, standout has a top 14 of: Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia, Louisville, Iowa, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Michigan State, UNC, South Carolina and Notre Dame.
