Number One: Sam Ehlinger, Texas
At number one, we have the senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger. In two plus years as a starter, Sam has quickly cemented himself as one of the better dual threat quarterbacks. His style is a little different in that he will lower his shoulder and bulldoze the competition. Ehlinger finished with 4,340 yards of total offense and 39 touchdowns.
In 2020 all eyes will be on the former Austin Westlake product. A. new offensive coordinator in Mike Yurcich will be calling the plays. The team also has limited experience at wide receiver. If Texas is going to make a run at a Big 12 Championship and College Football Playoff berth, it will be on the shoulders of Sam Ehlinger.
