Number Two: Brock Purdy, Iowa State
Brock Purdy might be the best shot at a first round draft pick when it comes to the quarterback position in the Big 12. Last year he finished with nearly 4,000 yards through the air. His 27 passing touchdowns were tied for 17th most in the country. As he goes, so do the Cyclones.
Iowa State finished 7-6 a year ago and they are poised to ruin some dreams in 2020. With Matt Campbell as the head coach, this team can be a thorn in the side for many teams. Purdy needs another big year to take them to the next level. Viewed as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country, a big year for Purdy could earn him a lot of money on Sundays next year.
