Number Four: Spencer Rattler, Oklahoma
Spencer Rattler has yet to take a meaningful snap but finds himself at number four in the Big 12 quarterback rankings. A highly touted quarterback out of Arizona where he was rated as the number one player in the state and number one quarterback in the country. He completed just seven passes last season in mop up duty behind Jalen Hurts.
Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley has produced two Heisman Trophy winners at the position and many expect big things for Rattler. He is worth the hype as far as what he did on the field in high school. He will likely finish much higher in the rankings by seasons end. He will get his first taste of the Red River Rivalry on October 10th in the Cotton Bowl.
