An atypical decade for a franchise associated with championships and lots of victories. The Lakers are on track in 2019-20 to break a six-season run of no postseason appearances. All it took was adding Anthony Davis to LeBron James to make that happen. However, the decade of despair cannot be ignored by one season of success. Frank Vogel is the team’s fifth coach in the 2010s. With losing comes lack of job security.
