3 keys to the game for the Oklahoma Sooners defense vs. Iowa State

Oklahoma should be locked in on these three keys defensively in order to come out on top Saturday against Iowa State.

After they held Cincinnati to just six points at Nippert Stadium, Brent Venables’ defense returns home to the friendly confines of Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for a primetime kick against the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday.

Young redshirt freshman Rocco Becht leads the Cyclones. Becht looked good eviscerating Oklahoma State’s defense last week. He’s a wizard at evading pressure and completing passes under duress, and that skill will present Oklahoma with some challenges.

The Sooners should win this game if they are focused and locked in, but there are three keys for the Oklahoma Sooners defense to find success in week 5.
