Joining Holmgren on the team will be teammate Jalen Williams, Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham, Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green and Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray among others.

The complete select team has yet to be announced.

USA Basketball previously announced the roster for the FIBA Basketball World Cup with NBA All-Stars Anthony Edwards (Minnesota), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana), Brandon Ingram (New Orleans) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis) headlining the group.

They will face Puerto Rico on Aug. 7 in Las Vegas in the first of five exhibition games. They will also have friendlies in Spain against Slovenia (Aug. 12) and Spain (Aug. 13) and wrap up their schedule in Abu Dhabi against Greece (Aug. 18) and Germany (Aug. 20).
