PHILADELPHIA–The Philadelphia 76ers had a tough time at home on Monday in the first of this two-game mini-series with the Orlando Magic. They blew a 21-point lead in the loss so Wednesday’s rematch offered a chance at redemption and a way to bounce back.
Led by Joel Embiid and James Harden, they did just that. The Sixers led by as many as 14 and while the Magic did make a run at it and made it a game late, Embiid and the Sixers proved to be too much as they walked away with a 105-94 victory. The big fella had 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead Philadelphia on a night they needed a win.
Harden added 26 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds, Tobias Harris had 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists, and Tyrese Maxey added 10 off the bench. Georges Niang had seven and four assists and Shake Milton added eight.
