The Georgia Bulldogs were in the top 13 for four-star recruit Evan Stewart. Now, Stewart has committed to the University of Texas.
At 6-foot-0, Stewart hails from Frisco, Texas and ranks as the nation’s No. 40 overall player, No. 5 receiver and No. 8 player in the state of Texas in the 2022 class. 247Sports has Stewart as a four-star prospect, but he is not far from being a five-star.
Stewart is a big addition for Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns. He plays football for Liberty High School, where he is a junior. Throughout 2019, he hauled in 43 passes for 757 yards and seven touchdowns.
Stewart currently holds over 25 college football scholarship offers. The four-star wide receiver committed to Texas over Georgia, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, TCU, Florida, Baylor, USC, Penn State, and Texas A&M.
