Getting closer to the end of the draft, Georgia safety J.R. Reed finally hears his name called with the 156th overall pick.

Reed is projected to go to the San Francisco 49ers.

Viewed as the 10th best safety in this class, he played like a top-five guy during his years in Athens.

Reed has NFL bloodlines and was a consistent performer on the back end during his Georgia career.

Round 6

With the 24th pick in the 6th round of the NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints take Georgia defensive tackle Tyler Clark. 

On Clark, Trapasso wrote:

Clark won’t move the needle with splash plays, but he’s not a major liability in any area. Ideal defensive line depth at this junction of the draft.
