Back to Diggs, why was he traded by the Vikings, again? Well, he had some off-field issues with the team, and perhaps quarterback Kirk Cousins. Is that something that Beane is worried about? No, and he added that folks shouldn’t think the Bills just want a certainly type of guy.

“One of the misnomers out there is that we are looking for all choir boys. That’s not accurate. We’re looking for professionals. I would say this about him, he’s a very competitive guy,” Beane said.

Beane said there were folks already in Buffalo that have had experience with Diggs too, such as scouting director Terrance Gray, who made trading for the wideout easier as well. So no… Beane sounded like he’s very confident that Diggs won’t be an issue.

“We did do some digging, this guy is a super competitive guy. He brings an edge to that position. I know ‘diva’ gets put into that position, I would not call him a diva. I would refer to him more of what he refereed Josh Allen to, he’s a dog. I think he will fit in,” Beane said.

“It’s a clean slate here and we believe he’ll fit in,” he added.
