CB Johnathan Joseph
Stats: 200 games played, 754 tackles, 195 passes defended, 31 interceptions, 7 forced fumbles
How much veteran do the Bills want in their secondary? Buffalo recently tabbed Josh Norman as a player worthy of investing in as a 32-year-old. Joseph is set to be 36 soon and him and the Texans just recently parted ways.
Having said that, Norman isn’t exactly the veteran leader type, he just has some really good experience in Sean McDermott’s defense. If Joseph has enough left in the tank (13 pass breakups last season), his 14 years of experience could be the type of leadership the Bills would like adding. He certainly wouldn’t push Tre’Davious White, but the Bills have been burned in the past on a lack of depth in their secondary so if he’s cost-effiencet, maybe the former Texan liked what he saw out of the Bills in the Wild Card round a few weeks back and thinks he could try to title chase in western New York.
