Recently released by the Browns, the Bills can sign Christian Kirksey right now and reportedly Buffalo has interest in him. So far he has only had free agent visits with the Raiders and Packers, though.
Kirksey could project as a Lorenzo Alexander type of player. The 27-year-old has has struggled to stay healthy in recent seasons, but when he’s on the field, he’s been a tackling machine and flashed in coverage. That’s a unique skill set Alexander provided for the Bills which might require filling via two players if Buffalo can’t land a guy like Kirksey who could potentially do both. Kirksey only has 11.5 career sacks, but could get more opportunities to rush the passer in a role with the Bills.
