A little extra expected

In Mario Addison, McDermott’s expecting some Frank Gore, Lorenzo Alexander and Kyle Williams. Of course Addison can’t play all those positions. But those guys were the elder vets in recent years and the Bills have to replace their locker room leadership. In Addison, McDermott, of course, wants sacks. But also a leader in the nine-year veteran.

“Going back to the Carolina roots Mario was a key piece to our defense in Carolina, and again, another highly competitive individual that played really good football for us. And so, we felt like adding Mario would help us not only from a skill level standpoint, but also some of the leadership in the defensive line room,” McDermott said.
