Who is performing the ASL national anthem at the 2024 Super Bowl?

Moments before the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58, an actor will perform.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 as Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City look to add another ring to their collection following their fourth trip in five years to the NFL’s largest event.

However, according to the National Football League and The National Association of the Deaf, actor Daniel Durant will perform an American Sign Language rendition of the national anthem before the game begins.

Fans might know Durant from the Oscar-nominated movie CODA and from his recurring role on the show Switched at Birth. Durant will be joined on stage by other deaf performers Anjel Pinero and Shaheem Sanchez.
