It’s not unusual for fans to start panicking a bit if a team loses some games early in an NBA season, particularly if the team has lofty expectations as the Philadelphia 76ers do after an offseason full of hype.
However, during a 1-4 start, familiar issues have popped up, and some are expressing concern.
There are still 77 games left. A championship is not won in October and there is much work to be done to get to that level. The Boston Celtics, for example, were struggling so much through the holidays that some even called for them to trade Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown before making a run to the finals in 2022.
