Which teams has Texas never beat that they have history with?

Which college teams has Texas played but never defeated? There are seven total and we dive into each one that has evaded a Texas win.

Mountain West (0-1)

The Longhorns hold a commanding record against the Mountain West with a 14-1 record, their lone loss coming to the Air Force Falcons. A team that has given many teams fits over the years.

Air Force

The Texas Longhorns met Air Force for the first time in the 1985 Bluebonnet Bowl down in Houston, Texas. The Longhorns lost that game 24-16 to give them their fourth-straight bowl game loss. After opening up the game 7-0, Air Force outscored Texas 24-9.

SEC (0-1)

The Longhorns all-time record against the vaunted SEC is 191-92-9. Although most of those wins and losses came against Arkansas and Texas A&M who are now part of the conference. Their only losing records against the SEC are Vanderbilt 3-8-1 and another team they have never beaten. Their last game against Vanderbilt came in 1928.

South Carolina

In 1957 the Texas Longhorns and South Carolina Gamecocks met in the third game of the season. The Longhorns defeated Georgia on the road before beating Tulane at home. This was the first season under Darrell K. Royal. South Carolina beat Texas 27-21 in front of 37,000 fans at Memorial Stadium.
