Where Texas RB Bijan Robinson is projected to be selected in Draft Wire’s latest mock draft

Another first round projection for Texas RB Bijan Robinson.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson is widely projected to be selected within the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.

Some experts have projected Robinson as high as No. 5 to the Philadelphia Eagles, but most feel confident that the Doak Walker Award winner will be selected somewhere around the middle of the first round.

In Luke Easterling’s latest NFL mock draft for Draft Wire, Robinson was taken off of the board with the No. 25 overall pick to the Baltimore Ravens. Here’s what Easterling had to say of the potential fit.

If the Ravens are going to keep deploying such a run-heavy scheme on offense, they might need a new lead back if J.K. Dobbins isn’t able to return to form after multiple injuries. Robinson is a complete, three-down playmaker who could dominate opposing defenses that are focused on slowing down Lamar Jackson.

Baltimore is no stranger to former Longhorns. Kicker Justin Tucker, wide receiver Devin Duvernay and defensive back DeShon Elliott have enjoyed success with the Ravens reecently.
