PFF recently ranked all 130 FBS starting quarterbacks ahead of the 2021 college football season.

The Big 12 will be home to several talented quarterbacks throughout the 2021 college football season.

There are a few question marks that still remain as several teams within the conference are amidst a position battle at quarterback. However, there is one thing that we know for sure: Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler is widely considered the top signal-caller in all of college football right now.

When PFF released their preseason college football rankings of every 130 FBS starting quarterback ahead of the 2021 season, Rattler was listed as the No. 1 overall quarterback. PFF broke down each group by tiers and Rattler was the only quarterback in the country to fall within tier 1.

The Big 12 had one quarterback fall within tier 2, while the majority fell within tiers 3 and 4. Although Texas is in the middle of an intense position battle with Casey Thompson and Hudson Card, PFF gave Thompson the nod on these particular rankings and listed him as a breakout candidate this season.

Here is where each Big 12 quarterback landed in PFF’s preseason rankings.
