2010: DT Gerald McCoy (3rd overall)
McCoy was selected one spot behind current Bucs DT Ndamukong Suh in the 2010 draft, and was released by Tampa Bay last offseason after nine years with the team. Despite no playoff appearances during that time, McCoy was beloved by both teammates and fans. After his release, he spent the 2019 season with the Carolina Panthers, and got to sack Jameis Winston a few times during the team’s Week 6 win over the Bucs. This offseason, he signed a three-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
