There was a lot of good and plenty of bad, but the Cardinals played much better than in previous games against the Rams.

The Arizona Cardinals played much better than in any of their previous five games against the Los Angeles Rams but the result was the same. They lost 31-24 to the Rams, ending their season 5-10-1.

Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes and Kyler Murray turned the ball over four times.

What did we learn in the game?

Murray was good to go

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

After being questionable with a hamstring injury, Murray was good to go and started. He did not try any scrambles and used a warmer to keep the hamstring from tightening up but he both played well and made mistakes. He had 325 passing yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He came out late in the game for a few plays after he was knocked down by Clay Matthews.
