There was a lot of good and plenty of bad, but the Cardinals played much better than in previous games against the Rams.

If there was a defensive stat that was what caused the Cardinals to lose, it was their play on third down. The Rams converted on 11-of-18 third-down attempts. They just couldn’t get off the field.
