WATCH:Josh Jacobs shares how Alabama helped him become a better person

Josh Jacobs shares on the Alabama football Twitter page how they helped him become a better running back, and a better person.

Former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs shared on the Alabama football Twitter page how Alabama not only helped him become a better running back, but also a better person.

“I chose Alabama because they didn’t treat me only as a football recruit. When I came in and I talked to Saban, most of the whole conversation he was talking about was just how to become a better man and how to become a better person, and that when I leave, when I graduate that I’ll be better off because of that.

They didn’t try to talk down on any other teams or any other schools or anything like that. They just showed me what they had to offer, and that’s what sold me the most.”

Jacobs finished his rookie season with 1,150 yards rushing off of 242 carries, 7 TDs, as well as 20 receptions for 166 yards.

Jacobs also had 261 more rushing yards than any other rookie in the NFL this season, and also led the league’s rookies in rushing touchdowns.

There’s no doubt that Jacobs is just getting started. It will be exciting to see what he will do in his second season with the Raiders!
