WATCH: Ryan Day, players discuss spring game

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and a couple of players met with the media after the 2021 spring game. Hear what they had to say.

It’s hard to judge the success of an intrasquad scrimmage like the annual LiFESports Ohio State Spring Game, but there were some very good things we saw Saturday. And it came from many of the different units head coach Ryan Day and his staff have been working to form and mold into a championship unit.

From the wide receivers to the defensive line, to some really good things from all three quarterbacks, we finally got a glimpse behind the curtain of some things that we can now look at and observe.

Day met with reporters after the game to field some questions and provide his thoughts on what he saw, and he did have some notable things to say. He was also joined by offensive lineman Thayer Munford and defensive end Zach Harrison.

Click on the below and head on over to our YouTube Channel to get Day’s thoughts on the play of the quarterbacks, what he liked from the day, and then hear what all three said about the stellar play of freshman defensive end Jack Sawyer. The video is courtesy of the Ohio State Dept. of Athletics.

Ohio State will now head into the post-spring workout mode and we’ll begin the countdown to the days when fall camp begins. Until then, we’ll have plenty more to say about what we saw Saturday, and what news we’ll hear from then until August.
