WATCH: Penn State give sup soul-crushing big guy touchdown to Ohio State

Penn State’s offense had played pretty well in the first half against Ohio State, but its second lost fumble of the half was a costly one in the unlikeliest of fashions. Ohio State defensive lineman Jerron Cage picked up a fumble lost by Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford and ran unchallenged 57-yards to the end zone for a game-swinging touchdown in favor of the Buckeyes.

Penn State entered the game not having lost one fumble all season long. In the first half against Ohio State, Penn State lost two. The breaks have not gone Penn State’s way so far, and the offense will have to find ways to generate some more drives resulting in points.

Cage’s scoop-and-score came on Penn State’s ensuing possession after the Buckeyes had taken the lead on the Nittany Lions on a C.J. Stroud  38-yard pass to Chris Olave.
