The Ohio State Buckeyes are in a real battle with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba is doing his part. He is currently Ohio State’s leading receiver with seven receptions for 140 yards, which includes a massive 75-yard touchdown reception.
Smith-Njigba was on the receiving end of a solid C.J. Stroud pass, and the OSU quarterback is also having a solid game, completing 19 of 30 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns, and just one ugly interception so far. It looks like Smith-Njigba is filling the shoes of Garrett Wilson fairly well, and hopefully, Stroud and Smith-Njigba can keep this connection going.
