Watch: Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins reacts to being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL draft

Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins reacted to being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL Draft.

It was a longer wait than many anticipated, but Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins is finally off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft. The suitor? It’s the Baltimore Ravens. There’s no doubt coach John Harbaugh and gang have to be giddy about Dobbins falling all the way down to the number 55 pick, late in the second round. Many had him graded out as a first-round pick.

The single-season rushing yards record-holder at Ohio State was asked about the chances of playing with quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, and he had a reaction that you’d expect. One of gratitude, solidarity, and humbleness.

“It’s amazing. I’m going to get to play with the MVP of the NFL,” said Dobbins. “I’m going to do my best to help him, and just help the team win. It’s definitely a blessing to be on this team.”

You can watch the short quote shared by the Baltimore Ravens Twitter profile below.

Good luck Dobbins. Baltimore got a great player and a great character guy. Watch him prove all the doubters wrong.
