On Wednesday, Fox Sports released the official trailer for the new documentary called “TUA.” 

On Wednesday, Fox Sports released the official trailer for the new documentary called “TUA.”

According to Fox Sports,

““TUA” delivers an exclusive look at the past year of former University of Alabama and current Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, as he works to overcome a career-threatening injury ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft. The film explores the star lefty’s journey from childhood prophecy to the biggest stage in football and includes interviews with his parents and other influential figures in his life including Alabama coach Nick Saban.”

Even Tagovailoa himself share with Fox Sports how excited he is for the documentary to be released:

“I’m excited about this film for a variety of reasons, but mainly because it represents the deep love and appreciation that I have for my culture, my faith and, more importantly, my family. I am extremely proud of this project and the efforts it took to get here. I look forward to sharing it with everyone.”

The film will debut Sept. 6 at 4 p.m. ET on Fox.

There is also going to be an 8 part series called ‘Tua Talks,’ which will be available s on the new FOX Sports app on Monday, Aug. 24.

Tagovailoa was the 5th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Last season at Alabama, Tagovailoa threw for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns and 3 interceptions before enduring a season ending injury.

In his career at Alabama, Tagovailoa racked up 7,442 yards passing, 87 TDs and 11 INTs.
