WATCH: First look of Tua Tagovailoa throwing passes as a Miami Dolphin

Former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa prepares for his first season with the Miami Dolphins, the most recent one shows him completing a pass.

Tua Tagovailoa has gone through a lot in the past year. Suffering a season-ending hip injury, deciding to enter the NFL draft, being the No. 5 overall pick and now having NFL fans watch his every move as they all await his professional debut.

Since his injury, he has posted videos showing his progress and return to normal training and practice participation. As the 2020 NFL season approaches, and training camp begins, there have been official video showing his involvement with the rest of the team, free of any limitations.

Tagovailoa is expected to start the season listed as No. 2 on Miami’s depth chart, sitting behind veteran traveling quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. However, it is assumed that he will see the field at some point in the 2020 season to take over the starting role.

Despite constant reports and interviews claiming he is healthy and can play, fans wanted to see him do what he did best while at Alabama: throw the ball.

The Dolphins posted a video to Twitter that included the former Alabama star throwing a pass to wide receiver Jakeem Grant. It appears to be the first recorded video of Tagovailoa completing a pass as a Miami Dolphin.

The clip of Tagovailoa throwing was cut out of a larger clip that shows Dolphins quarterbacks, Fitzpatrick, Tagovailoa and Josh Rosen practice in preparation for the 2020 season.
