Isiah Pacheco has been the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive workhorse through the team’s first drive against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. The second-year back touched the ball four times after Kansas City recovered a fumble on Minnesota’s first play from scrimmage, gaining 21 yards and scoring a touchdown.
After nearly scoring earlier in the drive, Pacheco took a carry in a goal-to-go scenario and expertly forced his way into the end zone to give the Chiefs an early lead.

This score was a great sign for Chiefs fans who are hopeful that Kansas City can maintain its recent hot streak and secure its fifth win of their 2023 championship defense season.
If Pacheco can continue running angry against the Vikings in this matchup, quarterback Patrick Mahomes should be able to toy with Minnesota’s defense on play action to find receivers deep downfield.
Expect Andy Reid to keep his foot on the gas pedal while his offense is in rhythm.
