Early signing day for the 2024 recruiting class is quickly approaching on Dec. 20.
While most recruits seem to sign on early signing day lately, some choose to wait for national signing day on Feb. 7.
Texas has already made a couple big splashes for the 2024 class with the commitments of five-star edge Colin Simmons, five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo, and five-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
The Longhorns currently hold the No. 13 class with 19 commits, but each of the programs ahead of Texas has more total commits. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Steve Sarkisian’s 2024 class jump into the top 10 after early signing day.
