UGA football offers scholarship to TE Oscar Delp

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to TE Oscar Delp, teammate of UGA football commit Dylan Fairchild at West Forsyth.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart have offered a scholarship to tight end Oscar Delp. Delp is a member of the class of 2022, so he’s currently a junior in high school.

Delp is an in-state prospect, who plays high school football for West Forsyth. West Forsyth is located in Cumming, Georgia, which is north of Atlanta.

Delp currently has no rating, but he’s put together some impressive numbers at combines. The 6-foot-5 tight end runs a 4.6 forty yard dash and has a lengthy wingspan.

The West Forsyth player has received loads of recruiting interest from some of college football’s top programs. Oscar Delp has scholarship offers from Florida State, Michigan, Duke, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, and more.

Interestingly, Georgia Tech has also offered Delp. Can Georgia continue to dominate in-state recruiting? Now that the Yellow Jackets have phased out of the triple option they should poise more of a recruiting threat to the Bulldogs.

UGA football has two commitments in the class of 2022 and is looking for more. In the class of 2021, Georgia currently has one commitment from West Forsyth in Dylan Fairchild. Will the duo continue to play together at the college level? We’ll keep you updated on their recruitment.

Fairchild was quick to congratulate his high school teammate on the scholarship offer:
