The University of Georgia has landed a commitment from Donovan Westmoreland. Westmoreland is a member of the class of 2022 and is a talented outside linebacker recruit.
Westmoreland is ranked as a three-star recruit and is a junior in high school right now. He plays football for Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia. Georgia offered him a scholarship back in Sept. 2020.
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs now have six commitments in the class of 2022. One of these commitments is inside linebacker C.J. Washington, who has several ties to UGA. All six of Georgia’s 2022 commitments are in in-state recruits.
The Griffin High School product, Westmoreland, has received scholarship offers from South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia Tech, and more. He’s got off to a hot start to the 2020 season and received another offer from Louisville. Westmoreland sparked increased recruiting interest in him following his impressive opening to the season.
