Two Georgia high school football programs have been ranked in the preseason top 25, per MaxPreps.

Checking in at number nine is Grayson High School of Loganville, Georgia. The Grayson Rams went 11-2 last season before falling 28-20 to Lowndes High School in the quarterfinals of the 7A state playoffs.

This season, Carlos Del Rio, a four-star Florida Gators commitment will be the quarterback for Grayson. He and four-star receiver Daejon Reynolds (also a Florida commit) will look to form an unstoppable duo in both high school and college.

Lowndes is ranked as the 12th team in the country heading into the 2020 season. The 7A school in Valdosta ended the year as a state finalist. They fell 17-9 to a loaded Marietta team in the state championship game.

There are plenty of other Georgia high schools that can enter the mix in 2020. High school football is much tougher to predict when compared to college football. There are so many teams and so many unknown players heading into every season.

Colquitt County High School, Marietta, Parkview and more will be among the contenders to be the top team in the state. Who do you think will end the season as the best team in Georgia?
