Two former Vols play in 76ers’ preseason opener

Tobias Harris and Jaden Springer play in preseason opener for Philadelphia.

Two former Vols appeared in the contest.

Tobias Harris started at forward and played 22 minutes for the 76ers. He totaled 13 points, seven assists, one steal and one block.

Harris made 5-of-12 field goal attempts, 1-of-3 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts.

Jaden Springer played 24 minutes. He recorded 14 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block for Philadelphia.

Springer made 5-of-7 field goal attempts and 2-of-2 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts.

Philadelphia will next play on Wednesday, hosting Boston. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
