OL Daryl Williams
Age: 28
Promise, guys, this is our last Bills-Panthers connection here. Daryl Williams is still kicking around on the market and clearly knows the Bills’ front office.
But in addition, Williams also has an amount of versatility to his game. He’s played at right tackle for a chunk of his career, but also kicked over to right and left guard with the Panthers last season. There he graded modestly via Pro Football Focus’ grading system, landing at a 56.1 overall grade. That was good for their 57th best guard in the NFL. But at right tackle, Cody Ford did leave a bit to be desired there last season, so maybe?
Williams signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Panthers last year. Since he’s still on the market, maybe he could battle for a spot on the Bills’ offensive line. Although, all five starters are returning, so he’d have to beat someone out for a job.
Although, he doesn’t seem to have too many Panthers fans sad he’s leaving…
