The hype was real coming into this battle of two highly-ranked rivals. Texas was the No. 5 team in the nation at the time, while the Sooners were undefeated at No. 2.
Yet somehow, the Longhorns failed to put a single point on the board. In what appeared to be a defensive battle, quarterback Vince Young was held to just 86 passing yards.
This was the first time that Texas was shut out in 281 games. Talk about a slow, painful disappointment.
