Top five running backs Texas will face in 2020

To truly be considered an elite offense in the Big 12, you also need a great ground game. Here are the top five RBs Texas will face in 2020:

No. 5 – Zach Evans

School: TCU

Classification: Freshman

Career vs Texas: Not played yet

Before ever taking a college football snap, Evans has piled up quite the record. The five-star recruit was suspended for the 6A-DI state championship game for North Shore after violating team rules. Then, after signing his letter of intent with Georgia, he asked to be released from it.

Earlier this week, Evans finally landed on a school and signed with TCU. Hopefully, all his focus is now on the football field and he can get back to doing what he does best.

TCU is losing Darius Anderson and Sewo Olonilua, their top two running backs from last season. Although the Horned Frogs signed another running back in their 2020 class, Evans should be the favorite to start in the backfield. And if he does get the chance to play, he could become a scary player.
