Three-star defensive lineman decommits from UGA football

The Georgia Bulldogs received a commitment from three-star in-state defensive tackle Marlin Dean back in March.

The Georgia Bulldogs received a commitment from three-star in-state defensive tackle Marlin Dean back in March. Now, Dean is backing off his initial commitment. Dean is a high school football player at Elbert County High School, which is located in Elberton, Georgia.

He is a member in the class of 2021 and was Kirby Smart’s first commitment in the trenches for the class. During his four seasons in Athens, Smart has transformed the trenches on both sides of the football.

Georgia football currently has ten commitments in the class of 2021. The Bulldogs will be looking for a defensive tackle to commit as Dan Lanning and company currently only have defensive end commitments in the class.

We will continue to update you throughout Dean’s recruitment and for the entire class of 2021. Georgia still has a lot of work to do before they’ll have an elite class.
