It wasn’t exactly a surprise, but Ohio State received a verbal commitment from fast-rising offensive tackle Zen Michalski Saturday.
The 6-foot, 6-inch, 280-pounder out of Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, Indiana is only rated as a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but his recruitment has been picking up steam since landing a few offers from the likes of Florida State, Penn State, and the Buckeyes. He just recently decommitted from Louisville and all the signs pointed towards his pending choice resulting in the U-Haul backing up to the banks of the Olentangy.
Michalski’s announcement now makes it 20 total commitments for the 2021 class and inches the Buckeyes ever so closer to the top team ranking currently held by Alabama. The Tide has one more recruit than Ohio State does currently.
