Three Texas coaches set to visit five-star QB Arch Manning on Thursday

Take a peep at who is representing each school here.

A few members of the Texas coaching staff will be heading to Louisiana to visit with five-star quarterback Arch Manning this week.

On3’s Joseph Hastings reported that Ole Miss, LSU, and Texas will take the trip to Isidore Newman High School over the next two days. Ole Miss and LSU will head there on Wednesday, while Texas is expected to visit the campus on Thursday.

Ole Miss offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby will be present for the Rebels. Jake Peetz, who served as the LSU offensive coordinator under Ed Orgeron, will represent the Tigers.

The Longhorns will have head coach Steve Sarkisian, quarterbacks coach A.J. Milwee, and defensive passing game coordinator Terry Joseph visiting with Manning on Thursday.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has consistently preached how important genuine relationships with players and recruits are, and this is one of the small details that separates him from the rest.

Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, and Clemson appear to still be the favorites in Manning’s recruitment. It’s unclear how the LSU head coaching hire of Brian Kelly will impact his decision.

Manning is rated the No. 1 overall prospect in the nation for the 2023 cycle, according to 247Sports.
