Three potential landing spots in the 2020 NFL Draft for Brandon Jones

Jones’ speed and athletic ability will give a few teams reason to give him a shot. Here are three landing spots for him in the NFL Draft.

San Fransisco 49ers

Finishing the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the 49ers already have one of the best teams in the NFL. The one area they could improve on next season though is in the secondary, needing to draft both a cornerback and safety in the 2020 NFL Draft.

CB Richard Sherman has been one of the best this season, leading the team in interceptions and has the third-most tackles on the defense. Outside of him, the secondary for the 49ers have not been the best. Jimmie Ward and Jaquiski Tartt have been playing safety this season, but the 49ers could use some depth/improvement.

Jones could come into the 49ers and instantly make an impact, being one of the best players in the secondary. Since they do not have a pick past the first round until the fifth round, they may have to trade up to get him. However, adding Jones to an already young defense will keep them atop of NFC for years to come.
