This is a good thing. It means that Texas is loaded at the position to where you have to find a way to get them all on the field. Keontay Ingram is penciled in as the starter, but he’s already been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Roschon Johnson was one of the most pleasant surprises of last season after choosing to switch positions from quarterback to running back. He’s now had a full offseason to prepare and take the next step.

True freshman Bijan Robinson was the nation’s top rated running back out of the 2020 recruiting class. Head coach Tom Herman has raved about his size and speed already, he’s expected to make an immediate impact.

It’s likely to be a running back by committee approach due to the talent alone, but how will the reps be split? This is without a doubt one of the most attractive position battles this offseason.
