LB Joe Walker
No one would say that Walker had a great season but the veteran who had only played in spot duty in his career ended up being a starter. Partly, it was because the team simply didn’t have anyone else they could trust and he proved it to his coaches on the field and in practice. He finished with 65 tackles and a forced fumble. He ended up doing much more than anyone expected and what he did was needed.
