Texas vs. Arkansas: Who the experts are picking to win

Who are the experts predicting will win in Week 2?

Texas and Arkansas will rekindle an old Southwest Conference rivalry in Week 2.

While Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman is on record stating that their fans seemingly view the Longhorns as their biggest rival, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian just sees the Razorbacks as another faceless opponent.

The Longhorns are hoping to keep their momentum going after defeating No. 23 Louisiana by 20 points in Week 1. Arkansas got off to a slow start against Rice in their season opener, but ultimately recorded three interceptions in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

This will be the first time that Texas has traveled to Fayetteville in 17 years, and only the fifth time that the two programs have met since Arkansas left for the SEC in 1992.

One of the biggest storylines of the week is that Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is expected to break an attendance record on Sept. 11. The school announced that Saturday’s matchup is sold out and will have nearly 80,000 fans in attendance. The 76,808 attendance record has been held since No. 1 Alabama traveled to Fayetteville in 2010.

How will Sarkisian’s team handle the hostile environment? Let’s take a look at who experts feel will escape Week 2 with a win.
